New Blog: Backing the Pack for NC State Fans!

I am a Blazer fan, I have a trade offer

I am just wondering how many Bucks fans would want the following hypothetical trade to go through:

Lamarcus Aldridge, Travis Outlaw, Jeryd Bayless, Nicolas Batum and Raef LaFrentz' expiring contract in exchange for

Andrew Bogut and Richard Jefferson

Even if you dont want the deal to go through, is there any chance John Hammond agrees to the deal?

uh...no

If we could make the deal without including Bogut, I’d be all for it, especially since LaMarcus Aldridge is such a nice player, but Bogut is a reliable (and steadily improving) anchor for this Bucks team.

That said, I think Hammond has put together the type of squad that he wants, at least for the forseeable future.

I'm not sure how this makes sense for either team.

For Milwaukee, Bayless is redundant with Sessions. Batum is redundant with Mbah a Moute. Aldridge and Outlaw are nice, but Bogut and Jefferson are more reliable, particularly on defense.

For Portland, we already have two centers whom we like a lot. So Bogut would be far too much redundancy at the center position. Jefferson would be nice, but not at that price. I think this deal makes both teams worse, not better.

Howard and Stackhouse for Redd,

wait, that looks familiar.

I have witnessed time and time again.

I am a Blazer fan, and you can't have Aldridge!

Bro – Why trade our young studs for Bogut and RJeff? We have freakin’ Gregzilla in the paint we don’t need Bogut.

The trades I’m in favor of would be a combination of Outlaw/Frye/Blake/Diogu/Lafrentz draft picks for a stud PG or SF.

I wouldn’t do this trade if I were the Blazers.

I’d happily do it if I were the Bucks. Good young talent and cap space, lot to like.
