Ramon Sessions getting shafted [POLL]
Ramon sessions should play at least 25 mins a game. Someone should tell the Bucks' coach that he's completely out of his mind for not playing this kind of talent. Sessions only got 6 minutes in the last game. If this becomes a trend, I suggest one of two things: Either you fire the coach or trade the player to Portland. Sessions over Ridnour any day.
Oh btw, I'm a blazers fan and I have Sessions on my fantasy team. He's been doing amazing but boom, he just hit a wall due to the lack of playing time.
There needs to be a protest or some kind of..peaceful..demonstration.

Sessions got buried last game
because he had 3 turnovers in 6 minutes. Ridnour may not be shoulders above him in terms of talent, but if Ramon is struggling, I have no problem letting Luke run the team. Besides, the Bucks won anyway, which is really all that counts.
Finally,
Either you fire the coach or trade the player to Portland.
I propose that the NBA adopt this rule immediately. Just for the sheer hilarity involved.

I picked start/30 minutes, though I’m less concerned with him starting vs. coming off the bench and more hoping that he gets 30ish minutes a night. He’s the best option we have as the backup 2 right now, so I think he needs to be seeing time at both the 1/2 most nights. Long-term he’s a PG, but we’re just so thin at the 2 behind Redd.
I think it’s obvious he has outplayed Ridnour, but at the same time I think there might be some comparative advantage starting Ridnour. In other words, Ridnour probably needs to play with good players more than Sessions does, who can be a scoring PG when needed.
I’d also say that his limited minutes the other night are probably just Skiles’ way of reminding him that he’s not guaranteed anything. I doubt it becomes part of a major trend, but with Skiles I suppose you never know.

Barring the ridiculous, I don't see anyone on Portland's roster that Milwaukee would give Sessions up for.
Portland has no plans on giving up Roy, Aldridge, Oden or Fernandez. And there is no one else on Portland’s roster for whom Sessions would be worth trading. Milwaukee has a keeper in Sessions, and I would think that a deal would really have to impress the Bucks to make that trade.
I like what Sessions has been doing this year. He’s shown that he’s worth having on the floor. Congrats to Milwaukee for finding some real gems in the second round of the draft lately.
And what is up with Portland fans? I understand that sometimes it helps to post on other teams’ boards in order to find out the availability of a player. But with a 15-7 record, they seem like the most trade-hungry fans around. I follow Portland a lot, but I am wanting less and less to be known as a “Portland Fan.” Just my own personal rant. :p

So do we know
why Skiles hates Ramon?

His usage of Sessions has been tough to predict, but then again Sessions’ biggest issue is defensive consistency and that’s an area Skiles where doesn’t have much patience. And he obviously likes what both Ridnour and Lue can bring to the table, so Sessions doesn’t have much room for error.
At this point I’m not even going to try to guess what Ramon’s role will be for the rest of the year, but nothing would surprise me. They’re obviously open to moving Lue, which would open up more consistent minutes for Ramon, and any injury to Redd, Bell, Ridnour, or Lue would have a similar effect. But I’m resigned to seeing Sessions getting only sporadic burn until then.
If the Bucks are going to be a 45-50 win team over the next few years—that’s probably their ceiling unless something bizarre happens—they are going to need more than just Redd, Jefferson and Bogut. I don’t see Ramon, Luc, or Joe ever being perennial all-star types, but they’ve gotta become solid contributors or more.
At this point, I’d probably bet on Sessions being the best of all of them, but he’s also only 22. And he’ll be a RFA this summer, so the Bucks might also be saving themselves a lot of money by taking it slowly with him. I’m not a fan of intentionally keeping a guy’s minutes down, but so long as Ridnour is playing well I’m not going to go postal about it :)
