Wanted: Fantasy footballers

So one of my annual fantasy football leagues closed down yesterday.  Because I am a FFL addict, I'm planning on starting another league, and I decided than to look to the blogosphere for other players.

Since the two SB Nation sites I visit the most are BrewHoop and Acme Packing Company, it seemed natural to invite people from those sites first.

It's going to be a very casual, ESPN.com-based, 10-team, FREE football league with an online draft sometime in the next few weeks.  The only requirement is that people have fun and can take a joke.

If you're interested, either respond in the comments section or e-mail me at mamaurer47@gmail.com.  The sooner the better.

Hope I can find 9 other people with a similar obsession with football!

Mitchell, I’d be down except I gave up fantasy sports last fall when Brew Hoop started taking up so much of my sports-related spare time :)

My knowledge of the NFL and MLB has definitely taken a big blow thanks to this site…but hey, at least I’ve retained some semblance of a social life. No, really, I have….kinda.

I’ve been in a league with friends for years and I’m sticking with just that one because otherwise it gets far too complicated. Thanks for the offer though.

Being the chronic gambler and overall bad person that I am, I will only be able to partake in your league should it involve me possibly winning money. No, actually I’m in the same boat and if it’s going to take up a ton of my time, I need something there for motivation , otherwise before I know it my girlfriend really will be knocking on Joe Alexander’s door.

Actually this brings up a new topic. If every hour you let your girl stay with Joe Alexander in his new mansion his PPG would go up by 2 points this season, how long would you let her stay with him alone?

Shout out to Vin Baker, Shawn Respert, Tractor Traylor, and Anthony Mason; you ruined my childhood.

Unfortunately, the women-folk are among the few things I love more than Bucks basketball.

That said, if Alexander is putting up 20 a night and my girl came to me with a confession…honestly I wouldn’t be that mad.

Thanks for the replies, fellas. I’ll keep looking.
