Injury of the day: Luke Ridnour's broken thumb

This is getting absurd.  On the same day that the Bucks decided to send their third string point guard to Orlando for help at shooting guard, their starting point guard reportedly busted his thumb in practice.  So now Luke Ridnour could be shelved for a month, leaving Ramon Sessions and presumably Charlie Bell/Damon Jones to cope with the PG spot.

This feels like the 06/07 season all over again, except the injuries are more severe.

Don't Worry

The D-League is here to help! Bring in a guy that’s hungry! I even put up posts in the last couple days for the best big man and point guards available in the D-League!

Ridiculous? I think Not.
Upside? Plenty.

Ramon Sessions

is a D-League alum. Couldn’t hurt, could it?

Yeah, the Bucks have had amazing success with 2nd round and/or D-League guys, so this is very worth exploring.

I’m almost certain the entire Bucks blogosphere uniformly supports Richard Hendrix.

also,
Damon Jones bruises his ego during pregame warmup

Impossible. Damon Jones’ ego has the healing properties this world has never seen.

Agreed, he’s like the Wolverine of egos.

But I think if DJ was to ever have something so impossible happen to him, it would be on this Bucks team.

Easy vote for the Gadz/clarinet combo.

Quite the dark comedy, this season is.

Wow

I know teams have to deal with injuries on a regular basis, but this is ridiculous. I wonder if there has been a team that’s lost 60% of its starting lineup in 11 days ever. Not only that, but we trade away one of our PGs right before it happens! Unbelievable.

The D-League has some interesting players, we should pick up one of them. Here is a list of the D-League players sorted by assists. Walker Russell jumps out with his 11 apg. Some familiar names jump out too: Eddie Gill, Mateen Cleaves, Smush Parker. Then you’ve got Will Conroy who is absolutely tearing it up (26 ppg, 8 apg, 5 rpg, 2 steals pg).

Either way, the Bucks are toast. At least our young players will get seasoned.

Conroy

I think you go sign Will Conroy, he is 6-2 so his size is solid, can’t hurt even just to have an extra guy in practice.
