Eddie Gill Called Up To The Bucks

NBA veteran and current D-League Product Eddie Gill has been called up to the Milwaukee Bucks. He is expected to be in uniform tonight.

Would have been nice to see the Bucks go for someone a bit younger and more productive in the D, but as usual NBA teams seem to think that having proven yourself as a crappy NBA player is somehow preferred to not having gotten a chance at all.

I like Eddie Gill, I do. But I think at this point, it might have been better to find a diamond in the rough, somebody that’s hungry and just needs their chance. Like you said though, to prove yourself to be a crappy NBA player is better than to have not had the chance to prove yourself at all.

Ridiculous? I think Not.
Upside? Plenty.
