Jefferson Traded
ESPN just reported a trade between the bucks and spurs.
Jefferson for Bruce Bowen, Fabricio Oberto, Kurt Thomas.
All of the three players have expiring contracts. Hopefully we can buy their contracts out and save a few million, but at the very least we'll have some cap space next offseason. Plus the incoming salaries total 1.4 million less than Jeffersons contract. I think this is a trade that had to be made, although it may have ended the bucks playoff chances next year. Although Jefferson only shot 44% last year, turns 30 next month, and had a PER of just 15.5.
