The Bucks roll into Michael Redd's hometown of Columbus tonight for their penultimate preseason game against the "new look" Cavs--who happen to feature some old, familiar faces to Bucks fans. Mo Williams somehow convinced himself not to retire after LeBron abandoned him, though you'd think he would be used to mediocrity after his four years with the Bucks. He also should be feeling better about sharing a locker room with his old protege, Ramon Sessions. After one disappointing year in Minnesota, Sessions is hoping to recapture his mojo as Cleveland's sixth man.
During the Bucks radio broadcast on Sunday, Jim Paschke suggested that Redd was expected to meet up with the team during the trip at some point, though it wasn't clear if that meant attending the game or simply stopping by practice or the hotel. Redd has of course become something of a forgotten man while rehabbing on his own in Columbus since suffering his second successive season-ending knee injury last January.
Update: Per Jim's latest video post at Bucks.com, Redd was at practice today, will be at the game tonight, and continues to target a February return to the team.

I can just picture Redd working out Rocky Balboa style in the russian wilderness before he rope a doped Ivan Drago in Rocky IV......
okay maybe not
That," says LeBron, "is for everyone that watches me play. They witness something special. You're all a witness.
Is 620am gonna have the game online?
When last I visited WTMJ radio 620 there was a big announcement that the local sports teams could NOT be listened to through WTMJ online because of licensing. That night I listened to parts of the Bucks preseason game online through WSSP. Maybe the prohibition doesn’t apply to the preseason. Anybody know more?
I’m 100 miles from Milwaukee. With my radio, the 620 broadcast fades in and out. The local sports station is normally listed as a Bucks broadcast outlet, but they run whatever they want. They’ve covered cars running in circles instead of athletes running up and down. They likely can’t care less about the Bucks preseason.
Can you listen through NBA.com?
Their audio league pass used to be free, though in my experience it’s not easy to find on their site.
I never use a big word when a diminutive word would suffice.
It's listed on NBA.com
You just need to be registered with NBA.com.

Is Mo playing tonight?
I thought I read one report saying he might miss the preseason or something.

I thought Mo was out with sympathy pain or something like that
on such matters so Salmons and Maggette head into regular season stone cold…….would have been nice to get some miles into the legs……….a pretty solid pre season from Gooden it must be said….
That," says LeBron, "is for everyone that watches me play. They witness something special. You're all a witness.
Still one more game!
Salmons says he might try and play the next one.

Maybe this deserves its own thread but what does everyone think about Redd sitting on the bench tonight and his comments today about the future?
by CHAController on Oct 21, 2010 5:43 PM CDT via mobile reply actions
I can't really tell what the Bucks are thinking in regards to Redd
I believe they are just doing the right thing in regards to helping Redd get back together, but you never know. If it’s just damage control until the trade deadline then they’re doing a pretty good job of it.

I was really hoping
to see Redd on the bench, cheering on his team during the preseason instead of during the playoffs last year like he should have.
Actually, it’s pretty annoying to read/hear the national media talk as if he is still part of the team when all of us locals know he’s finished.
I don't really think he should have been there.
I think people are making too big of a deal about it, especially since it was probably mutually agreed upon by both sides.

Growing up
listening to Ted Davis, Dennis Krause, Jim Paschke and Jonny Mac has been a reason IMO that I love the Bucks so much. All four are excellent and fun to listen to.
+1
I’m a big fan of all of our broadcasters…having LP and hearing who else is out there made me appreciate them that much more.
As for Ted, I wish I had an excuse to listen to him more often, but it’s tough to justify radio when you have every game on TV. I need to try to synchronize the Bucks’ radio broadcast with the LP feed when it’s the other team’s broadcast…hopefully it’s not too far off.

The Clippers TV Announcers
are the worst I’ve heard. Saying Bingo after every 3 pt make and the stupid homerism made me want to shoot my computer screen.

Sounds like Bogut has been good defensively thus far,
and the Bucks have 5 assists in 6 fgs.
Right Now
the Cavs holding a slight margin, but the Bucks have done some good things.

Skinner, Boykins, Sanders, Delfino, and Dooling
Not the unit I want to see finishing the game. I understand it’s only preseason, but put the starting 5 back in for the last few minutes and see if we can execute a win.
KAJ sighting!
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is in Eugene, watching UCLA get PWNed 53-6 by Oregon in Autzen.
Obviously, Minnesota will hire John L. Smith to be their next head football coach.
