Troy Murphy
The tradewinds blow to the tune of Troy Murphy. Here's one scenario I throw on the table:

Does it/could it happen? Doubtfully. I don't see Indy really wanting KT, although the speed of Ridnour/Warrick might be reason enough. Add to the fact that they cut $4 Million in salary, get all expiring contracts and rid themselves of Troy Murphy's contract for next year and it COULD happen.
What does it do for the Bucks? Well it gives them meat at the 4, someone that would be a good compliment to Bogut, someone not afraid to rebound. Even better, the man can shoot. TJ Ford would return to the Bucks and this is where it becomes a problem. TJ has a player option in 2010 and would undoubtedly use it. He doesn't hate Milwaukee that much to walk away from that salary. And as a backup? Not sure that would be worth it to the Bucks. Please provide your thoughts below.

I would like to obtain Murphy w/o getting Ford but I would still do this
Murphy is an above average player and i don’t really see any of the guys we are giving up as future pieces on this squad unless they stick around on the cheap.
the Pacers are going to want more than
expiring contracts to deal Murphy. They need a legit young piece or draft pick(s) to move him, in addition to salary relief. The Pacers would take the Z/Hickson package from the Cavs before settling on expiring contracts alone.
but, besides all of that, Murphy would be a nice addition for the Bucks.
Yeah, I’m not sure there’s really a common ground b/w the Bucks/Pacers. I don’t like the idea of giving up someone like Ilyasova plus expirings to get Murphy, but I don’t see the Bucks getting Murphy in a package of just KT/Warrick/Alexander. I doubt the Pacers can free up cap space this summer even if they deal Murphy, so I’m not sure the point of dealing him unless you get a Hickson type player back.
