Go to Bogut again!

Andrew missed playing against the Knicks for the most part in the early February game only to return and destroy them in the second February matchup.

Bogut missed the game against the Hornets back in November. Let’s hope for a similar result huh?

David West should not have his way this time around with the Aussie patrolling the middle.

Bogut’s had some big games against Okafor, though he’s certainly a tougher matchup than what the Knicks could offer. It’s interesting how few touches Okafor gets in NO, though having another post option in West probably has a lot to do with it (and Paul’s injury hasn’t helped).

Collison on a tear

Collison outplayed Jennings in New Orleans a couple months ago and he’s been terrific of late: 23 ppg and 9.8 apg in 42 mpg over the last five. He’s also averaged a whopping 6.2 turnovers per game, but you gotta take the bad with the good right?

Thornton is the guy I want to watch

I had hoped the Bucks would pick him up in the second round instead of Meeks. I saw him in last year’s tourney and he played well against Carolina.

He has more 20 point games this month than Jennings (including 37 in their last game vs. Cleveland), so I don’t blame you. I didn’t really see him in college but he seems similar in many ways to Meeks—undersized SEC scoring SG who can light it up from outside. Unfortunately, Thornton’s actually translating that to the pro level while Meeks never really did it before he got shipped out.

In all fairness he did show some flashes and didn't get much of a chance...

i think he will be a decent scorer off the bench in his career but i am not losing sleep that we shipped him out especially considering we got Stack and Salmons

I despise those horns.

Almost as annoying as “Go Cubs Go”

McGlocklin

is like nails on a chalkboard sometimes. Paschke is so consistent but McG reminds me of an embarassing older uncle.

yeah...

McGlocklin will get ornary some games too and you can tell he just has a pissed off edge in his voice

Mbah a Moute has impressed me so far...

he’s been playing within himself and doing a decent amount in limited minutes

Jennings

Brandon is really taking care of the ball tonite. Nice selective shots, I think we may have 50% shooting night on our hands!

He needs to keep attacking the rim.

Agreed

Bogut has looked very smooth in the post, not one of his misses has been bad.

Delfine played the entire 1st half except for 1:30...

and I barely noticed him except for a sweet block on i forget who… collison maybe….
either way he has a +10 this half the highest on the team

How much improvement can we expect in Jennings ability to finish?

I have seen players improve their perimeter shooting as they spend time in the league, but how many guards have improved their finishing ability as they mature as a player? Is it just a matter of improving his strength?

Anybody read Simmons column about improving the NBA?

He made several complementary comments about the Hammonds’ ability to put together a competitive team on a budget. He had some good ideas for the league in his piece, too bad the owners would never go for it.

.500 Baby!

The Bucks control their own destiny now.

Bobs losing...

Down 11 with a couple minutes to go in Utah…that’d put us a full game up on them, while we’re tied at .500 with Miami for 7th.
