Around SBN: Jeff Sullivan's MLB Trade Deadline Primer

Dude

The Prognosticators have been wrong so far.  I had read countless reports and viewed many chat rooms regarding the Bucks chances this season.  The reports were all the same--"A lot of what if's.  28-44, 5th place Central Division"

Scott Skiles deserved commendation, as does GM Hammond.  The product is pleasurable this season, and it is notable they bought instead of sold at the trade deadline.  BJenn is exciting, Bogut is performing, the players are gym rats who play defense.  Plus they go to the hoop instead of shooting jumpers.  They've regularly shot more free throws than their opponents over the last 24 games.  Hopefully the Ray Allen/Michael Redd jumpshooting days of the past are over, because I think focusing your offense on that type of player is a recipe for losing.  Rebounding, free throws, defense, strong coaching, young and hungry players--it is a recipe for success, and the product hasn't been as good since the George Karl/Sam Cassell days, with the all time low remaining Larry Krystowiak

I will be rooting for the Bucks too

My Pistons will be lucky to get to 30 wins, so no playoffs for them.
