Long time reader, first time writer...
As stated above, I've been in and out of the brewhoop reading posts from passionate fans and have finally decided to get in on the fun. As many have already read, I am one of the BIG BUCKS FANS from KC who will be participating in the second trip to Milwaukee later this month (MARCH 26-28). I am very excited to be doing this, and have not regretted the decision to become a Bucks fan.
I find it interesting that we are one win away from matching last years win total. This makes me both happy and cautious. Let me elaborate.
I'm happy because we're obviously improving. Two years ago we were 26-56, and last year we were 34-48. As a fan, this is the steady improvement I want to see. Also, we have the 5th spot in the playoffs to date, which gives us some breathing room. It's nice to finally have a professional team in the playoff hunt, because the Chiefs and Royals just aren't getting it done.
However, I'm cautious because this is new territory for most of our players. How are they going to react to these pressure games now that they actually mean something (each win gets you closer to a playoff spot; each loss brings the 6th, 7th, and 8th teams closer to you). Can we expect a rookie, who is having a sensational year, carry us to the playoffs? Can we anticipate our injury-prone center (who I love by the way) to continue to stay healthy and crash the boards? Can this team handle a little success in the right ways? These are what makes me cautious.
OR maybe I should just enjoy the ride and whatever happens happens. Part of being a sports fans is knowing that you will have success and failures, and sticking with your team through thick and thin.
I am certain of this, no matter what happens I will enjoy the next 20 games, and if we make the playoffs GREAT! If we don't...there's always next year, right?

I'm a little confused...
If we don’t…there’s always next year, right?
are you a cubs fan or a bucks fan?
I’m joking. I’m glad we have a contigency outside of WI, hell, sometimes I feel like I’m the only Bucks fan in Madison.

I say enjoy the ride
Considering where this team was expected to finish, anything beyond the 8th seed is gravy. And as much as Jennings/Bogut might not have much experience with playing meaningful games in April, as a team there’s still a fair bit of experience—Salmons went through this exact experience last year in Chicago, Stackhouse has seen it all with Dallas, and Delfino has never been on a team that didn’t make the playoffs.
+1
Enjoy it… the Bucks are playing extremely well but that can change in a minute… I agree with Frank…. if they make the playoffs I’ll be ecstatic… I’m already organizing as many people as I can to get together to go to the game, get drunk, get rowdy, and talk trash to the other team…. =)
both the Bucks and my Colorado Avalanche are completely exceeding expectations… a far more interesting season than I thought it was going to be… And I think sometimes a little inexperience in the playoffs helps young players be naive, which helps ignore the pressures of the playoff stage. They didn’t even expect to be in playoff contention, so where’s the pressure? Just my humble take on it based on being on a high school hockey team made up of no juniors and seniors that made state semis… we were too stupid to know we were supposed to be scared…

playoff motivation
at least Skiles has this up his sleeve come playoff time…….when? im trying to keep it positive okay so Ill say If? Bogut, Ersan & the Prince are having an off night he can always point to end of the bench and plead cmon guys if you dont pick it up, box out, rotate on defence etc etc im going to have to use Primo & Dan…..enough said
Playoff Mojo
Going into the playoffs, having Kurt Thomas in the locker room can only be a positive. The guy was a mainstay on the Spurs under Greg Pops. He will definitely be a calming influence going into the playoffs. And Ersan, while technically a 2nd year player, has been through the ringer in Europe. Jennings is as cold as ice. No questioning him. And Bogut just has an air of confidence unseen since Jesus Shuttlesworth and SamIAM. Luc Richard and Salmons look to be fearless. I am quite excited.
Chicks Dig The Long Ball.
Celtics anyone?
yes another smart move from Hammond, not trading away Kurt Thomas or Ridnour at the deadline. add in Stackhouse some nice vet smarts coming off the bench, guys who know their role and what the situation demands
Id fancy a go around with the Celtic’s they just seem to have a few to many miles on the motor, they dont look like they have the firepower to blow anyone away over a 7 game series so your always a chance with defence & rebounding and playing smart and keeping it close…………..and then that bench it just screams dysfunction as Sheed says the ball dont lie and he’s morphed into a Matt Bullard wannabe, 250 3’s attempted at 28% Just Say No, Nate Robinson, an ancient Michael Finley, Big Baby
with the way Bogut has owned Perkins so far in their couple of match ups
Orlando & Cleveland obviously look a class apart, Atlanta well they have some mad talent & if Josh Smith has it screwed on properly come playoffs id be ducking for cover
they have alot of talent in that top6, its the Celts for me
