Hammond Interview
For anybody who hasn't seen this (And if it wasn't for the glory of the internet, I wouldn't have) , It's an interview with John Hammond conducted by Homer on ESPN 540 Milwaukee. (Never listen to him)
John Hammond Audio: MP3 [Frank says: here's a straight link to the interview]

And yes, that's a link to a link to another link. Go crazy.
I thought it was a pretty straightforward interview, Homer asked the questions people want to know plainly.
Your thoughts?
(Check out the RealGM, thread too, some people bring out some great points)

Just added an mp3 link
My read on the Redd discussion: the Bucks have moved on, and Redd’s playoff no-show sort of embodied that. No ill will toward Redd, but they’re not counting on anything. Very different from last year when Hammond was touting all summer how well Redd’s rehab was going and how they expected him back at 100% by camp.
The buyout question is kind of silly as long as Redd is hurt—he keeps getting paid his $18.3 million and the Bucks are only on the hook for 20% of it. Until Redd can make a living playing basketball he has no incentive to take a dime less than $18.3 million in a buyout, and the Bucks have no incentive to buy him out unless he’s willing to take 20% or less of his salary.
Now I’m just curious if/how the Bucks can prevent him from putting on a Bucks uniform again…
Thanks for the link.
Should have thought about doing that in the first place.

looks so much like the McGrady/Rockets stand off its not funny
like the subtle freeze from both sides…..
Funny you should mention that
Because at one point in the season I heard rumors about a Redd for McGrady Trade. Of course it never materialized, a fate most rumors share.

Haven't listened to the interview, but Frank is right about Redd.
If you go onto the Bucks website, or looked at any of their recent marketing materials, the man is nowhere to be found. Just like on the Buck’s bench. I’m oh so curious as to what will come of this come fall. Will he be at camp? At games? Anywhere near Milwaukee? November can’t come soon enough :)
IF he's still officially a Buck by then ;)

The thing I don’t know about it is whether the Bucks can just tell him to stay away (a la McGrady) and keep collecting insurance money (which wasn’t a factor in the McGrady decision once he had returned). That’s the best case scenario for us and makes Redd very tradeable. But I assume we need a doctor to basically sign off on that, which could be a bit sticky if Redd claims he is ready to play…

Not sure if this is only me
But I did the straight MP3 link and only got a minute worth of time. I hope I’m the only one who has this problem though.

No mistakes in the tango, Donna. Not like life. Simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get all tangled up, you just tango on.....
Maybe it didn't fully load?
It wasn’t that long, but longer than a minute…
