Bringing back Mugsey--I mean Earl--Boykins
http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/101080989.html
I have to admit, I didn't see this one coming.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't we already at 15 players on the roster? From comments Hammonds/Skiles made earlier in the summer, it wouldn't surprise me if Tiny is cut to make room.
As far as Boykins goes, I think you could do a lot worse with your 3rd string PG. He's going to get exploited if you have to depend on him for long stretches, but from what I rememeber he's good at coming in for a few minutes, running around tall people and scoring some sneaky buckets.
Thoughts?

D-League
Tiny is a clear-cut case of a player in need of some D-League time. He needs to adjust to the pace and style of the game, but is skillset is too valuable to discount him entirely. Boykins is great for a 3rd-string PG, but then again, I would probably be passable as a 3rd-string PG. I am 4 inches taller than him.
It's a good move
even if he never plays. he’s an insurance policy against BJ or Dooling going down for any period of time. Be interesting to see who is going to get the inactives most nights other than Redd.
