Warm to idea of playing in Milwaukee?
Part of a four part series by J.A Adande about the plight of small market teams in the NBA. Here he takes a look at the Bucks and their situation, but I highly recommend you read the other 3 parts as well.

The problem here is
The “small market” factor doesn’t apply to the Bucks. Yes, big market teams have a pretty large advantage over small market teams, and the NBA CBA needs some fine tuning, but the Jazz, Spurs, Trailblazers, and now the Thunder have shown that it’s possible to be a good team in a small market. Sure, only one of those teams have won a championship (An indictment of the problem in the NBA that is the subject of the current small-big market debate) but they’ve been infinitely better then the Bucks. The small market thing doesn’t apply to the Bucks, where the last 20 years we’ve sucked because of terrible management for years, and everybody in the Milwaukee media is afraid to call out the team and it’s owner on it. The end result being the Bucks are irrelevant in the eyes of many die hard Wisconsin sport fans.
