In this episode Frank and I discuss the stories about recreational leagues like the Drew League, Goodman League, NC Pro-Am, and how we feel about the increased coverage on those games. Why is Brandon Jennings involved, and is it helping or possibly even hurting his game? Though he's not among the crowd talking up international options, Jennings' busy summer has others taking note as well: SBNation's Tom Ziller ranked him number two overall in his NBA Lockout Power Rankings. Lastly, we spend some time talking about music and the recent (awful) rap song that made reference to Jennings.
If you need a refresher on Brandon's summer to date, here are some of the highlights:
- Brandon's Under Armour internship, his off-season training and his NC Pro-Am debut.
- Video of Brandon throwing an alley-oop to himself at the Melo Center in Baltimore.
- High-scoring performances by Jennings in various pro-am and charity games.

Poll
Are you paying any attention to summer basketball leagues like the Drew League, Goodman League, NC Pro-Am, and others during the lockout?
No. It's not the quality of basketball that I expect as an NBA fan, so even without any alternative I still don't pay any attention. (30 votes)
Sort of. I'm paying a bit more attention that I normally would to this stuff, because it's the only game in town with the lockout in full effect. (19 votes)
Yes. It's a fun summer distraction where players get to focus on entertainment value, and who doesn't like to watch NBA talent assert their dominance over lesser players. (9 votes)
