Joel Przybilla Eying a Return with the Bucks

Cue a new "coming home" commercial! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXqaqb1OB84

In all seriousness, he would be legitimate backup center which we haven't seen since Kurt Thomas. He was only a shell of his former self last year, but he claims his injured knee was only at "50%" health and is around "90%" currently.

This is, of course, irrelevant if we don't have a season. Sigh.

I'd be fine with him,

we do need a backup for Bogut.

I've always wondered if he's actually 5'9".

The Lombardi trophy should either be in it's birth place, or else on a vacation in South Beach.

All about health...

Gery’s been playing this up since last season, so you know the interest is there on his side, and if he’s anywhere close to 100% then you’d have a very legit defensive/rebounding center as insurance for Andrew. That’d be a no-brainer, but obviously the Bucks would need to get comfortable that his knee can hold up.

Whatever the case, I just want to see the Bucks pick up somebody who has shown they can competently defend low-post big men. I’m not sure Kurt Thomas has much left in the tank, but he’s been solid the past two seasons and I think he’d be much better than nothing, especially given the presence he provided in the locker room.

Prz would be a good option, I think.

Yes, this is on a post from a long time ago…but I remember Przy putting together some pretty solid years for Portland. His knee just failed him completely, and right after Oden went down, to boot. Meant the Blazers had to line up Juwan Howard at C and LMA at PF…

If there IS a season, I think Prz would be a good pickup.
