OT: I'm more at peace with the Badgers

With earlier losses I worried that UW was falling short of its potential.

Now I recognize and accept the lack of potential.

Still find Ryan accountable, but not simply for coaching. For building a system that elevates sub-Big-Ten talent into boring teams that win inconsequential games — while repelling potential recruits who have talent.

Michigan making basketball plays, over and over and over. Badgers don’t belong on the court. But they’re top-notch young men. That means something, someplace. Is there another sport they could switch to?

Hmm… guess I’ll have to keep working on that acceptance thing.

Anybody here an ESPN Insider that can relay what David Thorpe wrote about Leuer in his rookie watch?

I know he ranked Leuer 8th among rookies, just curious what else he wrote.

Likes what he sees, said Leuer needs to work on defensive rotations

Basically, he said that Leuer looks to be undoubtedly one of the smartest rookies of the class, and that he’s playing great defense by occupying the right spots on the floor, he just needs to work on his awareness of what’s going on around him. Said he expects him to rapidly improve in that department. Pretty high praise, it was nice to read.
