First let me say that I think Skiles has done a really impressive job this season,

I think that he has been very flexible with the roster that he's been given and adjusted his coaching style accordingly. I think he's a smart and driven guy.

That said, I don't think he is a good offensive minded coach, and his coaching style sometimes seems to alienate players. Those are also two things that people sometimes also say about Stan Van Gundy. That being said, I think Van Gundy is one of the greatest b-ball minds we have, and it'd be dumb if the bucks didn't at least look in to trying to procure him for next season (though he'll probably end up with New York or the Clippers or something).
