After looking at the projected 2012-13 rosters, can you tell which teams in the NBA's Eastern Conference are playoff-bound?
August in the NBA is anything but interesting. Everyone knows it, too. Do you really want to ponder the implications of back-of-the-roster signing around the league? Joel Przybilla rumors and Mickael Pietrus rumblings can't sustain Milwaukee Bucks fans forever, so why not go in a different direction and assess the current landscape of the NBA's Eastern Conference. Regardless of how well the Bucks' youngsters played in summer league, success in 2012-13 will be largely determined by the quality of the best eight players Milwaukee can put on the court. That's the reality of NBA basketball.
With that thought in mind, I have complied a list with the projected 2012-13 starting lineups and my best guess at the top trio of backups for every team in the East. Now it's up to you to rank each team in the East in the comments. The responses will eventually be pooled into some sort of Brew Hoop reader projection post, so honest and realistic answers would be helpful.
Here is a look at the projected lineup for every team in the Eastern Conference for 2012-13. This is what the Bucks will be up against in 2012-13, so take an educated guess at how well they theoretically stack up against a healthy set of competition -- yes, I am perfectly aware that Derrick Rose is still recovering from surgery to repair his torn ACL.
Let us know what you come up with in the comments section (rankings in list form are preferred, and please feel free to explain your decisions).
