IT'S Simple?

Four years of having a GM at the helm has resulted in the team either remaining stagnant or, actually getting worse (relative to onboard talent and results). Also, pending on whether your glass is half full or half empty. Perception can be everything. Just ask an owner and his co-horts who rather then thanking their GM for four years (this season included) of his efforts, and ushering him out...re-sign the man to well, try again I guess.

The question YOU the FAN should be asking: Do I trust this GM to do this time...what he could not last time? Sadly, I cannot. And, I like to think my glass is, without waiver, usually half full. I'll save any further narrative until the trading deadline comes and goes as we wait to see just how Hammond will manuever through this obstacle course that awaits:

>Noted in an WSSP interview..."there are at least four guys who would rather not be here..."

>Ellis- Do you offer him 11M-plus, let him walk post season, or trade the man now saving what little face you can without watching him leave without compensation.

>Additions to strengthen...Front Court, as seen by countless loses because of deficiencies in the paint, and baseline INSIST that some 'meat' and 'heavy-weights' (with some grace) be added.

>You say..."we need another shooter". The fans say, "who is Jodie Meeks, and where the hell is Doren Lamb..." Can't get better unless ya play him.

>Finally, (oh there are a few other nuggets), but, alas...Brandon Jennings. Your words suggest you'll do anything to keep him. He counters by getting a new agent. How do you counter? Will you play the game this summer, or have ya made up your mind, that much like you, it's been four years with little or no improvement and the time is now for a change? Is Brandon your point guard, or primary trading tool...

NOW>?< We wait John Hammonds to see how Different You Are? Or how much hasn't changed? It's simple? ***
