Luc Mbah a Moute left the Bucks' Sunday night game in Sacramento with "left foot pain", but was able to return to the lineup to start the second half.
The Bucks were already short-handed Sunday night, with Ersan Ilyasova, Larry Sanders, and J.J. Redick all missing the game due to injuries. That list got longer when Luc Mbah a Moute hobbled off to the locker room after nine first-half minutes. Luc was reportedly suffering from left foot pain and was to be re-evaluated at halftime. As a result the Bucks dug even deeper into their bench, with Drew Gooden earning four minutes in the second quarter.
The injury was evidently not serious, as Luc was able to return and start the second half for Milwaukee. One report called the injury a sprain, but that appears to have been incorrect. Needless to say, a big second-half run to put the Kings away early would be a nice luxury for the Bucks, who are playing the second game of a West Coast back-to-back. That will mean keeping DeMarcus Cousins under control more than they did in the first half, when he racked up 20 points on 8-10 shooting.
