I'll be honest, I don't care about the playoffs at all anymore, don't care who wins, loses or anything. So with that I am getting hyped about the draft. The Combines are next week so we'll get to talk about the measurables and on the 21st we get the lottery which means Mocks will have a little more lustre.
This big board represents who I would pick if available when it's the Bucks turn to pick, in order of preference. I'll be honest, I don't really like the term BPA(best player available)as it tends to be misunderstood as almost an exact science. You see people says things like "I hope they take the BPA, as long as it's not Player A". Or "Why did they take Player B, they should have taken the BPA?" BPA is subjective.....I do agree with the concept but there's so many variables that go into defining what constitutes the BPA, it's hard to know how it's done. I would expect most teams make a big board though, and may put them into tiers so if someone in their first tier sin't there when they pick, they may look to trade back.
So here goes...my Bucks Big Board as of May 9, 2013
1. Nerlens Noel(I'd be hesitant to pick him if I was #1, but if he somehow fell to #15 you have to pull the trigger)
2. Ben McLemore
3. Otto Porter
4. Trey Burke
5. Victor Olipado
6. Anthony Bennett(Canadian guy not getting a ton of love from me)
7. Shabazz Mohammed(this is where it gets tough for me, no one stands out to me)
8. C.J. McCollum
9. Alex Len
10. Michael Carter-Williams
11. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
12. Giannis Adetobouko
13. Deniis Schroder
14. Gorgui Dieng
15. Glen Rice Jr.
Others I'd consider- Sergie Karasev, Tony Mitchell
This may change between now and the Draft but feel free to offer your input.
