Delfino interviewed in Buenos Aires: his injury and Bucks

Harry How

Hi, everyone.

Carlos was interviewed today in Clarin, the most important newspaper here in Argentina.

He basically talks about our national team, but there are a couple of excerpts Bucks' related.

First of them is about his injury. Good news, fortunately. Here´s what he said:

How´s your recovery going?

'I'm better, I'm very optimistic. The bones are completely sealed. I passed the physical test with the Bucks and now comes the hard part, which is being fit again, start moving your foot and regain the lost mobility and muscular fitness. I am just starting to move again, swimming and doing some bike.

What was your first thought when you were told about the injury?

'I was playing with a fracture line. It was estimated that I would have to stop after the season but not operated. But itall turned into a complete fracture because of the stress. The truth is I was frustrated a little. When they told me the recovery time, I wanted to die. Normally I have always had short recoveries. I was playing in terrible pain, I played for love and desire, but perhaps because of the physical aspect I should have stopped. I´ve been suffering funny injuries, I hope t this bad streak comes to an end.

Second one is about returning to Milwaukee:

"I am pleased returning to the team because I never really wanted to leave. Still, I think it was good thing I had thisyear off in Houston. Hopefully, it will help this time both parts doing better than we did before", he says.

(...) Also, he is pleased by the interest several teams showed in signing him: "There was a lot of interest and teams called trying to convince me. These are nice things that happen when you become a free agent. I felt valued, that somehow I was gathering the fruits of my work ".

Here and here are both links to the interview, I would translate it completely, but I´m under a work overload and, to be honest, my English is not that much better than the one Google provides.
