On Ersan Ilyasova's conussion...
"This had nothing to do with the broken nose. He ran into his teammate [Zaza Pachulia] in the fourth quarter [against the Hornets]. We'll see how he feels. He is feeling a little bit better, but we'll see tomorrow how he feels. Hopefully he can do a little something, but we think he'll probably be out for a couple more days."
On playing the Hawks on consecutive nights...
"Win by one or win by 15, you get another crack at one of the best teams in the East. We have to continue to stay hungry and continue to keep playing hard because we know that they are going to come out and play hard and execute their plan. They're still one of the hottest teams in the league. They play well and are well-coached. We have our hands full again tonight."
On what Jared Dudley has brought to the team off the court...
"He is as important on the court as he is off of it. Being a guy that has been in the league on successful teams, he understands what it takes to win. The work ethic, the extra work you have to put in, and the communication in that you have to talk to one another. I think the guys see that on the on the floor and they also see that off the floor too"
On John Henson's return last night...
"I thought John was really good for the minutes he was in. He was changing shots, making plays and rebounding. I also thought he did a good job getting to the free-throw line. Sometimes when you are out, free throws can be tough. He stepped up and knocked them down."
Mike Budenholzer
On whether playing the Bucks again is a good or bad thing...
"We'll know more in a couple hours. We're obviously familiar with them and they're familiar with us, so we'll see if we can play better tonight."
On what he saw on the film from last night...
"I think Milwaukee played really well. They did a lot of things well on both ends and you have to give them credit. There's lot of things that we can improve and do better, and so that's the challenge for us."
On the differences between this Bucks team compared to last year's team...
"I think with a change of coaches, players here and there, and the growth of some of their young players, you can see that there is significant growth this year."
On the season before last night's game...
"We were making progress defensively. Our defense was giving us a chance every night to have some success. Offensively, there was a better understanding of what we are going to do and how we are going to attack. Different guys stepping up on different nights gave us a chance to have some success. It didn't mean anything last night."
On whether the game plan has changed in the wake of defeat...
"Surprisingly, not a lot. I think that no matter what we do, we have to do it with commitment, activity, and energy and effort. No game plan is really very good without those things. We're just more focused on our effort and our energy and our commitment defensively tonight."
On Jared Dudley...
"If Dudley would miss a shot, that would probably help us."
