Though the Bucks as a team still have 10 games to play,
Ersan’s season is over, we learned just today.
With the lottery in sight, the team said ‘enough,’
There’s no reason to risk it to try and be tough.
His ankle was injured early on we now know,
All year he dealt with it, as we did with snow.
All across the board, his numbers were down,
Frustrating fans from all over town.
But in March he was better, shooting 50 percent,
Maybe he gave up shooting poorly for Lent.
A long summer waits now for Ersan and the Bucks.
To be great again we will need some good luck
From the lottery balls that will bounce late in May,
For the number one pick we pray and we pray.
This summer’ll be busy, of that I am sure.
Here’s to hoping we’ll find, for losing, a cure.
John Hammond will call, he’ll deal and he’ll lurk,
He might even move our embattled big Turk.
With numerous trade talks, it remains to be seen,
If we’ll ever see Ersan again in Buck’s green.
I don’t know the answer, but I hope that we do,
But for now, his year’s over, so I bid him adieu.
