Post number two, same look as the last one, looking at guys outside to Top 15 or so and profile pages are linked wehre available.
PG is another position of need on the Bucks, I am okay with Knight and Wolters but do not expect Sessions back and we will need another PG at minimum.
1. Elfrid Payton-Louisiana Lafayette
DX Top 100-#25
Strengths-Physical tools, length, quickness, althletic ability, defense, penetrating ability, playmaking, upside, cool hair
Weaknesses-Perimeter shooting, finishing ability, no left hand, turnover prone, can be passive
My Take-Yes please, let's get it done, only hard part is you might have to get into the Top 20 to get him. Projects at minimum to be a good defender and a guy who can get to the hoop fairly well so if he can add some decent shooting and playmaking on to that I think he could be an All-Star. My goal after our Top 4 pick is to get one of Adams, LaVine or Payton.
CB Level of Interest-9/10
2. Shabazz Napier-Connecticut
DX Top 100-#28
Strengths-Shooting stroke, range, experience, gets to the line, playmaking ability, shot creation
Weaknesses-Tunnel vision, shot selection, size, turnovers, decision making, defense, finishing at the rim
My Take-Not interested unless it's with the #36 or #50 pick and there's a 6'1" PG I'd take there before Shabazz anyway. The age and size are the big things for me.
CB Level of Interest-2/10
3. Deonte Burton-Nevada
DX Top 100-#37
Strengths-6'6" wingspan, strength, finishing through contact, attacking the rim, capable shooter, defense, pnr offense
Weaknesses-PG play, inconsistent shooting, shot selection
My Take-Can kind of see Burton as a Vinnie Johnson type of scorer off the bench, his strength really helps him in traffic and finishing. I'd maybe use the #36 or #50 on him to bring in as a 3rd PG
CB Level of Interest-5/10
4. Vasilije Micic-KK Mega Vizura
DX Top 100-#38
Strengths-Size, PG skills, shooting range, getting to the rim, finishing, intangibles, wears pink shorts well
Weaknesses-Turnover prone, shot creating, shooting consistency, limited upside, low defensive potential
My Take-I was higher on him, now after further review I am not sure if he's going to have the quickness to play well in the NBA. He's probably good enough to carve out a career as a 3rd PG or a back-up on lesser teams but I would be hesitant.
CB Level of Interest-3/10
5. Jordan Clarkson - Missouri
DX Top 100-#47
Strengths-Size, PG skills, game management, getting to the rim, finishing, gets to the line, good defender
Weaknesses-Turnover prone, poor shooter, going to his left, strength
My Take-I wouldn't move up to get him but might take him at #36 or #48, probably my second choice behind Payton (distant second though). Would likely benefit from a year in the D or in Europe.
CB Level of Interest-5/10
Other PGs-Russ Smith, Jahii Carson, Semaj Christon, Aaron Craft, Keith Appling
