Its a done deal the Bucks are acquiring the coaching rights of Jason Kidd from the Brooklyn Nets for two 2nd round draft picks. Initially the Nets were seeking the Bucks 2015 1st round pick but settled today for the 2nd Rounders. With this move it looks like the Bucks are ready to start the ground work of building a contender. After picking Jabari Parker with the 2nd overall pick in Thursday NBA Draft it seems the Bucks are ready to start digging their team out of the basement.

With only 1 season of coaching under Kidd's belt in which the Nets finished 44-38 and were bounced in the 2nd round of the Playoffs by eventually Eastern Conference Champions the Miami Heat, you may wonder what the Bucks see in Kidd? They do have an extremely young and impressionable team and the Bucks are hoping by bringing in the on court experience of Jason Kidd he will bring some stability to the team that only won 15 games last season.

With this trade now official there are still a couple of questions that have not been answered yet, what will happen to current Bucks coach Larry Drew? Will Jason Kidd get complete control of all the Bucks basketball decisions, like he wanted in Brooklyn and was denied? And finally with a team still full of young and aging superstars who will be coaching the Brooklyn Nets next season?
