Making up the $200 Million + For the New Stadium: Operation (RL)

I spend alot of time thinking about the Bucks, maybe too much time. How will Jabari, Giannis, Brandon, Kendall, Larry and Henson exist in harmony on the floor this year? Is Brandon a 2 or a true point? Will Larry be the Larry we love or...............Tree smokin' Bar Fightin' Larry? Are we the only one's that know how great Ersan can be? If so will he get enough playing time before we show him the door to impress another team so we don't end up with nothing for him like we ended up with when we traded Lamb and Tobias. (Not that Tobias would fit now anyway with our overage of Small Forwards.)

But the one question I ask myself above all of these is simple, how can the owners avoid asking the taxpayers to even contribute one cent to the new stadium? While I was at a Brewers game last week I came up with an idea that just might work.

I call it Operation (RL)

What is the most popular attraction next to the team on the field at ALL home Brewers games?

Not the Sausage race

Not Bob Uecker

Not the kids play area...............

It's TGI Fridays.

Once the fire happened, the number one question after how many games are we up on the Cards was When is Friday's opening back up?

So here's the point:

If you're building a stadium from scratch with private money, Why not build an extra level on the new stadium? Just above the skyboxes and executive suites and right below the 400 level. A Restaurant Level (RL).

2 Major Restaurants at Half court on both sides and 2 more Anchor Restaurants located at each end making up a total of 6 Big Restaurants, For Instance Outback, Applebees, PF Changs, Famous Dave's, A Nice steakhouse, Cheddars, El Fuego / Beso. Charge anywhere from 15 to 25 million per spot depending on the size. rounding it to 6 spots at 20 million per spot easily exceeds the $100 million mark, maybe you can charge more I'm not sure on the logistics, Then you can fill in the rest of the open spots with local businesses that would love to have a slice of real estate in the new arena maybe open it up to bidding war? All said and done the $200 million gap is drastically reduced.

If you think I'm nuts by all means let me know, if you think it's a great idea........let me know that too, but if your name is Marc Lasry or Wesley Edens and you use my idea...........Season tickets for life would be AWESOME!!

(Even if they're uppers)
