Being the brother of Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has its perks, but it comes with plenty of expectations too.
After playing a modest role for Division 4 champions Dominican a year ago, high school senior Kostas Antetokounmpo is looking more and more like the player division one scouts hoped he could become, starting and showing off an expanded offensive arsenal in the process. Still growing into his appropriately freakish 6'9" or 6'10" frame, Kostas' game remains decidedly on the raw side, but he starred for Dominican over the holiday break with an MVP and game-winning performance at the Whitefish Bay Shootout (above).
He was back at it on Thursday night with 15 points and a big dunk over the Prairie School, inspiring some mean mugging between Kostas and his big brother Giannis in the stands.
Though his production is only now beginning to approach his potential, Kostas is ranked as a top three recruit in the state (ESPN #3, 247 Sports #2) and has scholarship offers from Iowa State and Memphis.
