Welcome to the Brew Hoop Night Shift. Every evening at 9:00pm (central time), this all-purpose thread goes up, and the comments section is where it’s going down. What Bucks news did we not cover? What topics do you want to break down further? Or is there something non-Bucks that you want to bounce off of one another? Even something non-basketball? This is the place.
Today’s (on)topic:
⚡️ “Jabari named Inspirational Player of the Year at @WISportsAwards”#FearTheDeerhttps://t.co/PgA6KoMHJP

Just when you thought you couldn’t root for Jabari Parker any harder...
Today’s (off)topic: voting.
At the risk of starting a conversation about anything political (please don’t start anything political, anybody...), I find it interesting that so many groups and organizations still use the simple-majority (half-plus-1) method of voting to make decisions. As a PoliSci major, I learned all about alternate voting methods, and I am actually a huge fan of “ranked voting” because it allows people to express multiple preferences without creating an overly-complicated system to measure results.
I don’t have a question, I just think ranked voting is good.
As a general rule, non-basketball topics are permitted in an open thread, provided that they follow the SB Nation Community Guidelines.
