Linkage: Fear the Sword / Cavs the Blog / Bucks.com Game Notes
The Bucks roll into Michael Redd's hometown of Columbus tonight for their penultimate preseason game against the "new look" Cavs--who happen to feature some old, familiar faces to Bucks fans. Mo Williams somehow convinced himself not to retire after LeBron abandoned him, though you'd think he would be used to mediocrity after his four years with the Bucks. He also should be feeling better about sharing a locker room with his old protege, Ramon Sessions. After one disappointing year in Minnesota, Sessions is hoping to recapture his mojo as Cleveland's sixth man.
During the Bucks radio broadcast on Sunday, Jim Paschke suggested that Redd was expected to meet up with the team during the trip at some point, though it wasn't clear if that meant attending the game or simply stopping by practice or the hotel. Redd has of course become something of a forgotten man while rehabbing on his own in Columbus since suffering his second successive season-ending knee injury last January.
Update: Per Jim's latest video post at Bucks.com, Redd was at practice today, will be at the game tonight, and continues to target a February return to the team.
