The Brew Hoop community has selected Bismack Biyombo with the seventh pick on the draft board. Biyombo has been difficult to slot into mock drafts so far, with opinions on him ranging from top-5 to top-20. Lately though, he's been rising rapidly up draft boards. His production is very impressive, with excellent numbers in rebounding and shot blocking. His measurements have scouts mesmerized, and his motor on both ends of the court has earned him that precious "NBA-ready" label. Like so many young big men, he still lacks a well-developed post game and is considered "unfinished" on offense. There's also the question of his age: if he is in fact in his early/mid 20s, rather than 18, it could impact his future potential. Picks so far:
1. Derrick Williams - F, Arizona
2. Kyrie Irving - PG, Duke
3. Enes Kanter - C, Kentucky
4. Brandon Knight - G, Kentucky
5. Kemba Walker - PG, UConn
6. Alec Burks - SG, Colorado
7. Bismack Biyombo - PF/C, International
Pick the player YOU would like the Bucks to select, assuming they were drafting at each position - this ain't no mock draft. Essentially what we're looking for is a ranking of each prospective draftee. That means you should take into account need, potential, or (trade) value, and consider which other players are still available. We're not experts, but it should be a fun and interesting way of gauging the community's general opinions on this draft class.
Feel free to defend/brag about your selection in the comments, and let us know of any non-obvious choices you think should be included in the next poll. Also, if you select the option, "My preferred choice isn't listed," please leave your pick in the comments, but please be clear about it (eg. "My choice for pick #X on the board is ______"). That will make it easier for us to tally the results if there isn't an obvious top choice in the poll.
Poll closes Sunday or so.
