Brew Hoop Draft Board - Pick #7

The Brew Hoop community has selected Alec Burks with the sixth pick on the draft board. Burks has been a popular pick for at #10 for Milwaukee in many mock drafts, but the results of this poll suggest that he's more than just a consolation prize for Bucks fans. In fact, I'm forced to wonder if Burks would have gone even higher had he been included in the polls earlier. In any case, Burks is one of Brew Hoop's most dissected prospects. His strengths are well documented: an extremely smooth handle, great athleticism, and a strong knack for creating shots both for himself and others. He would hopefully offer immediate help off the bench at a position that saw a net negative level of production last season, according to 82games.com, with the potential of working himself into the starting rotation in the future. Burks' primary area of concern is his jumper. He has gradually improved his mid-range game but still needs to establish it consistently, and he is unlikely to set the arc on fire anytime soon. However, he excels at the line, and scouts have insisted that his form is on the right track, so there is strong hope for improvement. Picks so far:

1. Derrick Williams - F, Arizona
2. Kyrie Irving - PG, Duke
3. Enes Kanter - C, Kentucky
4. Brandon Knight - G, Kentucky
5. Kemba Walker - PG, UConn
6. Alec Burks - SG, Colorado

Pick the player YOU would like the Bucks to select, assuming they were drafting at each position - this ain't no mock draft. Essentially what we're looking for is a ranking of each prospective draftee. That means you should take into account need, potential, or (trade) value, and consider which other players are still available. We're not experts, but it should be a fun and interesting way of gauging the community's general opinions on this draft class.

Feel free to defend/brag about your selection in the comments, and let us know of any non-obvious choices you think should be included in the next poll. Also, if you select the option, "My preferred choice isn't listed," please leave your pick in the comments, but please be clear about it (eg. "My choice for pick #X on the board is ______"). That will make it easier for us to tally the results if there isn't an obvious top choice in the poll.

Poll closes next time LeBron scores a point in the 4th quarter.
