Bucks vs. Pistons: Game Thread

The Milwaukee Bucks host the Detroit Pistons in their preseason home opener on Saturday night. There is no local TV coverage, but the game will be broadcast on FS Detroit and on local radio (AM 620 WTMJ).

On Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, John Henson and the Milwaukee Bucks will get their first look at Andre Drummond and the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons are playing the second game of a back-to-back, just as the Cavaliers were when the Bucks started preseason play on Tuesday. Here is a link to our game preview.

Drummond should be interesting to watch. The No. 9 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft played extremely well in his debut against the Toronto Raptors, as he posted 12 points on 6-8 shooting, seven rebounds (three offensive), two blocks and two steals. In the rematch on Friday night, he only played for six minutes and recorded two points, one block and one steal.

Tobias Harris, John Henson and Larry Sanders are the men to watch on Milwaukee. With Ekpe Udoh missing time due to a minor knee strain, there are opportunities for all three men to impress Scott Skiles and carve out more playing time going forward. You can never have too many good players, but with so much frontcourt talent floating around there are bound to be a few guys who distinguish themselves from the pack. Will Larry Sanders seize the moment?
