The darker tone of the hardwood at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY is an interesting sight for an NBA fan, but once again it will be hard for most of the Milwaukee Bucks faithful to watch their favorite team. The Bucks are in Brooklyn for a matchup against Deron Williams and the Nets on Sunday night (5 p.m. CT tip), but FSN-Wisconsin will not carry the game. Unless you have access to the YES Network on NBA League Pass, you will have to listen to the action with Ted Davis.
As always, you can stick around and comment on what you see and/or hear with us in this game thread. The Bucks will either be above or below .500 by the end of the evening. Let's hope they pick the first option. Here's a bit from Frank's preview:
The size of Deron Williams and Joe Johnson could be a major issue for Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis, though both Deron and JJ are putting up numbers well below their career averages here in the early going. Williams is shooting just 39% from the field and 29% from three, while Johnson is slightly better and broke out a bit in the Nets' last game with 32 points and 23 shots.
Over at NetsDaily, the game preview includes some interesting quotes from Deron Williams on the team's recent losing streak and whether he is frustrated.
