(SB Nation, Mike Prada) The Milwaukee Bucks remain mired in mediocrity, and if the latest NBA trade rumor is any indication, they are considering all possible scenarios to get out of that rut. The Bucks have already entertained the idea of trading center Andrew Bogut, and now, they may be doing the same with young point guard Brandon Jennings, according to Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated.

Sources said Milwaukee has made third-year point guard Brandon Jennings available "for the right price," as one executive who has spoken to the Bucks put it.

Jennings reportedly "irked" Bucks officials when he told ESPN's Chris Broussard in February that he's "doing his homework" on big-market teams.

Jennings is eligible to sign a contract extension with the Bucks this summer if he chooses. If he declines an extension, he will become a restricted free agent after the 2012-13 season, in which case the Bucks could still match any offer.

Updated by Frank:

Real question to me isn't simply whether Jennings would sign a contract extension, but what the Bucks would even be willing to offer him at this point. If Jennings is still on the team this summer there could be a mutual preference for waiting until next year to make any long-term commitments.
