Bucks vs. Cavaliers Game Thread (Jan. 25) | What's next for Brandon Jennings?

Brandon Jennings missed the cut for the Eastern Conference All-Star roster, but he still has a chance to make this the best season of his professional career. How will he respond on Friday night against Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Jeff Hanisch-US PRESSWIRE

Kyrie Irving is an All-Star. Brandon Jennings is not. The Bucks are in position to earn a playoff spot. The Cavaliers are not. Jennings is surely disappointed that he didn't earn an All-Star nod this season, but he needed a favor from the coaches and a blind stare at the team record to sneak past Kyrie. Irving didn't need any favors to make the squad. He earned the spot based on his individual accomplishments.

Kyrie's team isn't good. Jennings' squad is clearly better, and on Friday night it will be up to Jennings and company to push past the Cavs if they want to add to the momentum they've established with Jim Boylan as head coach.
