The Bucks have lost six of their last eight games and dipped below .500 for the 2012-13 season. They are the only team in the field of 16 playoff teams with a negative point differential for the season. Thanks to some untimely losses against Eastern Conference foes, they've all but ceded the secondary conference tiebreaker to the Chicago Bulls. The Hawks earned their third victory over the Bucks in three tries on Sunday afternoon, which helped to create a nice cushion for Atlanta. It's down to Boston now.

Last year the Bucks were all push and no playoffs. This year they've been all playoffs and no push.
Kevin Garnett is dealing with an ankle injury that could keep him out for a bit, so once again the Bucks have been gifted a golden opportunity to make something of their season. Unfortunately they aren't playing very well. The defense has collapsed, and now the team is reliant on improbable fourth-quarter explosions from Monta Ellis to save the day.

Last year the Bucks were all push and no playoffs. This year they've been all playoffs and no push. We can't quite get a full-blown playoff push out of them, and it's frustrating. Our minds wandered a bit on Monday, and we touched on several other topics, including Jim Boylan's coaching and a free agent deal for Brandon Jennings. Check it out.
