Live NBA Draft Thread: Discuss all the picks, rumors, and trades right here!

With the 15th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft, the Milwaukee Bucks selected Greek forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. They also have the 43rd overall pick.

Jason Szenes

It's here! After more than a month of rumor, innuendo, workouts, tests, debates and lots of utter BS, the 2013 NBA draft is upon us. Let's start with some ever-important viewing details:

When: Tonight at 6:30 pm Central

Where: Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York

Watch: ESPN coverage kicks off at 6:00 pm Central, the draft starts at 6:30

The major Bucks-related news of the day had to do with Milwaukee's apparent interest in Russian sharpshooter Sergey Karasev, with reports indicating that the Bucks were exploring options to move up to the Mavericks' #13 overall pick in order to prevent Cleveland and others from leapfrogging them to snatch up the 19-year-old Russian starlet. Others have suggested Karasev could also be gone by #12, where the Thunder have apparent interest in him...if they can't pull off a move up to #2 in order to draft Victor Oladipo. The rich get richer? Stay tuned.

Anyway, Gery Woelfel also tweeted a couple nuggets worthy of discussion:

Bear in mind that Jennings isn't under contract as of July 1, meaning that he can't be traded right now--there's no such thing as trading a veteran player's "rights" like you might trade a draft pick's. Any Jennings deal requires him to be involved in the negotiations, and that can't happen until free agency opens on July 1. So bottom line is that the Bucks may be willing to sign-and-trade Jennings a week from now, but at the moment it won't help them swing a deal related to tonight's draft.

Latest mockery!

  • Chad Ford/ESPN (Mock 7.2): After projecting Shane Larkin for a while, Ford now projects Karasev and notes that Dennis Schröder might have an "edge" on Larkin if Karasev is off the board. He also lists Giannis Antetokounmpo/Adetokunbo (no one can decide on its spelling) or Murray State PG Isaiah Canaan.
  • Jonathan Givony/DraftExpress: Same as last night--Karasev.
