NBA Draft 2013: Brew Hoop Community Draft Board: Pick #4

The top of the Brew Hoop Draft Board is getting heavy on wings. When will the first big man earn a spot?

USA TODAY Sports

The wing trend continues with Victor Oladipo, SG, Indiana, the #3 player on the Brew Hoop Draft Board. Like Porter, Oladipo showed significant improvement during his college career, though he is a year older. Known for his nonstop motor and high-energy style, Oladipo improved his shooting (44.1 3P%, 67.0 TS%) and upped his steal rate to 3.1 per 40 minutes in his third year, becoming a highly productive part of a fantastic Indiana team and earning Player of the Year hype. He's been consistently excellent on the boards over his career, especially on the offensive end given his size. But that size might be his biggest concern: at just over 6'4", he'll have trouble playing the same G/F role he played in college, which might limit his ability to contribute all over the box score. But he's very athletic and has the ability to get to the rim and draw fouls; he could be a good slasher with above-average defensive potential. He'll have to prove his outside shot can be consistent if he wants to become a big-minute player.

The Brew Hoop Big Board
1. Ben McLemore - SG, Kansas
2. Otto Porter - SF, Georgetown
3. Victor Oladipo - SG, Indiana

Pick the player YOU would like the Bucks to select, assuming they were drafting at each position - this ain't no mock draft. That means you can take everything into account: need, fit, floors, ceilings, window treatments, the whole Shabazz shebang.

If the guy you want isn't listed, pick "Write-In" and leave your vote in the comments. Please make your vote clear--something like "My vote for Pick #1 is THIS GUY".
