On turnovers...

"Turnovers happen. They are a part of our DNA right now that we have to address. Also we have to take care of the ball late in the game. We had some turnovers after getting a stop that hurt us too."

On the Hawks' offensive rebounds...

"They had 17 offensive rebounds which is way too many. That's going to make it difficult, and if they convert them then we are behind. Besides all of that happening, we had a chance there to find a way to win and we just came up short."

On the positive parts of the game...

"We had some good looks. We had open looks that we just couldn't convert Guys had open threes or we got to the basket and we just couldn't finish. And that happens. Defensively, we held a team under 40 percent and we held them to under 100 points, but we still came up with the loss. There are some things that we have to look at, understanding that some nights it's not going for you. We have to find a rebound as a team, and we just didn't do that."

On being able to compete with a good team...

"There are a lot of positives, too. Twenty-one to 10 to start the game, it could have easily ran away from us. But we fought and actually took the lead in the second quarter, and then were only down by a couple of points to start the half. We just didn't take care of the ball or make the right play at the right time tonight."

On Khris Middleton...

"Khris can put a lot of pressure on the defense. One, he made shots. Two, he helped us rebound. He was one of the smalls that was in there helping us rebound, and he gave us a big lift."

Zaza Pachulia

On the loss...

"I think the game was all about offensive rebounds. We gave up too many offensive rebounds, second chance points, turnovers. We had 19 turnovers. That was the difference from last night's game."

On allowing offensive rebounds...

"It was going on the whole game, I think. We can't let teams get second chance opportunities. Even though we kept them pretty low [shooting] defensively, still they got the momentum with that. They have great shooters from outside. Same thing with offensive rebounds. They get an offensive rebound and they're kicking it outside to shooters and they're knocking down threes."

On the team's effort...

"This is what we do. We fight. We're going to be in a lot of games. We're going to play hard every game because that is our job, that's our mentality. Unfortunately, we came up short today, which we didn't want to, but we have another one on Monday."

Johnny O'Bryant

On turnovers..

"I think it hurt a lot. I think last night we did a great job of executing against those guys. It was a big key for the big win down there, and tonight we did a bad job of executing on the offensive end. They got a lot of fastbreak points, and the really really hurt us."

On how he's adjusting to the NBA...

"I'm just trying to whatever I'm asked. Try to come in, whether it's off the bench or starting, just five good minutes and give energy."
