Waiters?

Look, OJ is playing well. BK is playing phenomenally as well. But are either of them the long term answer?

If OJ keeps playing great and we want to bring him back, we probably will have to pay him similar money to keep him around Milwaukee. And the volatile way that we see Mayo go back and forth isn't worth it. He's a great piece but he's not a person that is gonna help Giannis and Jabari in the long term.

Brandon Knight shows a lot of promise (and this season has a lot of skill). I like him alot. He meshes well with the team and doesn't seem to be minding the fact that he is not THE GUY in Milwaukee. I love him and would love to see him stay in Milwaukee, but if there is something better out there, why not make the move to go get that option?

We thought about Eric Bledsoe (or at least the readers like you and me at BrewHoops did), so why have we forgotten the desire to upgrade the guard position to be equal with the front court? I'm still all for Eric Bledsoe (besides the now money that has to be factored in) or Isiah Thomas or Rajon Rondo, or any other guard that wants to come to Milwaukee and give a solid consistent upgrade. Granted to be viewed as an unbiased writer, Nate Wolters is my favorite Buck and I've got a nice customized jersey of his hanging in my closet, so it's not like I have the best taste in players.

Here's my proposition: BK and a pick for Dion Waiters.

Say what you will, but I think he's an upgrade to Brandon Knight and worse case scenairo? It gives us airtime across the country, we get nationwide appeal, and maybe we sell a few seats at the BMO to people who are intrigued by management that is willing to make a few moves during the season.

I'm not saying it makes the most sense. I don't have the basketball knowledge to tell you all the reasons it does or doesn't. I'm just saying John Hammond (or whoever actually makes the decisions), if you're reading this, think about it. To everyone else, take some time to comment about it.

Here's the link to the story that got me thinking about it earlier today:
