VIDEO: Giannis Antetokounmpo skies for Statue of Liberty slam vs. Mavericks

New, comments

The Milwaukee Bucks couldn't hang with the Mavericks in Dallas on Sunday night, but at least we still got our fair share of Giannis Antetokounmpo highlights, eh? A day after celebrating his 20th birthday, the Greek sensation put all of his length and huge handedness on display in the third quarter, finishing a one-handed Statue of Liberty slam for two of his team-high 18 points (8/11 fg, 2/3 ft, 4 reb, 1 ast, 1 blk, 1 stl).

Jabari Parker added 15 points and five boards on 7/12 shooting, providing some garbage time solace for a Milwaukee team starting out a difficult stretch of seven games against the best of the Western Conference. The Bucks travel next to face Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the Thunder, before a brief return home against the Clippers.
