2014 NBA Draft | Discussion Thread, vol. 5: Draft Chat!

You've had a blast chatting with Sam Vecenie this season, haven't you? Well, now that the Bucks know where they'll pick and the hype levels are starting to rise, we've decided to invite him back for another one!

John Rieger-USA TODAY Sports

As of today, we only have 30 nights of sleep that separate you from the most exciting Bucks draft in years. We survived the agonizing half-hour draft lottery and came away with a near-ideal result, and now Bucks fans have the luxury of discussing which top-shelf prospect they should select with their no. 2 pick. This is so much more fun than having Shane Larkin/Jamaal Franklin arguments, isn't it?

You've probably talked yourself in and out of Embiid/Wiggins/Parker/Exum multiple times already, and I'm sure that Godzilla auditions private workout videos against middle-aged coaches and chairs has you all in a tizzy at the moment. In fact, it wouldn't be at all surprising if you've rearranged your wish list at least once since you started reading this. It's probably driving you a little crazy, and perhaps just talking it out with someone is the best therapy for you right now.

WELL YOU'RE IN LUCK, because our friend Sam Vecenie, SB Nation College Hoops writer and blogger for the Cleveland Cavaliers blog Fear the Sword, has agreed to join us once again to discuss any prospect or draft day scenario you could see the Bucks trying to pull off. Now that the Bucks are slotted into the 2nd, 31st, 36th, and 48th pick, our chat can be significantly less speculative than they were early in the year, and that will hopefully lead to some exciting conversations.
