Giannis Antetokounmpo won't stop growing

New, comments

If you thought being 6'9" and that athletic was ridiculous, take a look at where Giannis is now.

Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

General Manager John Hammond met with Milwaukee media this afternoon, just a little over 48 hours until the most exciting Bucks draft in recent memory. While plenty of questions were asked about the top prospects, perhaps the most startling reveal came from Hammond talking about one of the players already on the roster.

"I think Giannis is going to be a multiple position player someday. When he came last September he was 6'9" and 190 [lbs.], and today he's almost 6'11" and 217 lbs. I think Giannis is a guy that's going to be able to play, at his size, he's going to play some small forward and he's going to play some power forward someday. He's another multiple position guy, and I think that helps this process."

WHAT.

It is also important at this juncture to remind you of what Giannis is capable of on a basketball court.

WOO! BLOCKS! RUNNING! DUNKS!

REACHING VERY HIGH FOR THINGS, SUCH AS BASKETBALLS

MAKING J.R. SMITH LOOK SILLY

We won't know what developments Giannis has made in his game until the upcoming Summer League, but the added height and muscle can only help in his quest for world domination becoming a vital piece to a rebuilding team. Consider me excited to see what's in store for the 19-year-old.
