Still the Champ.
It was probably never in doubt, and now it's official. The Most "Valuable" Player on the Milwaukee Bucks' 2015 roster, as determined by all of you, is Giannis Antetokounmpo. He took the top spot last year as well, beating out Jabari Parker with a convincing 61% of the final vote. This year it was even more overwhelming, with Giannis securing three out of every four votes.
There's no question he's deserving of the honor. Giannis improved nearly every facet of his game in his sophomore season and has shown no signs of slowing down. He's been hard at work improving his jump shot and he's bulked up considerably. Those are just the sort of improvements Milwaukee needs to see from him, especially as they seek to further exploit his positional versatility.
Just shy of 21 years old, this is by no means a "make or break" year for Giannis as a player, but it will surely be heavily-critiqued. If true superstardom lies in his future, this year is the one where we should expect "the leap." Thankfully, there can be no mistake about his drive.
And what about Jabari Parker? His place at #2 on the list is still well-deserved, but obviously a significant knee injury in his rookie season raises a twinge of doubt in all but the most faithful believers. Coming back strong in 15/16 would quell a lot of fears and illuminate an even brighter picture of the Bucks' future.
