Podcast: Talking Bucks Offensive X's and O's with Gibson Pyper

Mike DiNovo-USA TODAY Sports

As the Milwaukee Bucks' regular season opener draws ever closer, many of the team's biggest questions relate to an offensive attack that finished just 24th in efficiency last season. There's the potentially complicated dynamic of adding a proven post scorer in Greg Monroe, Giannis Antetokounmpo's (hopefully) burgeoning perimeter game, the challenge of getting more threes for Khris Middleton, and the longer-term goal of re-integrating Jabari Parker -- just to name a few.

While the Bucks' first preseason game likely didn't offer many answers, we tried to find someone who might be able to offer us some bigger picture insight. So, we spent some time with Gibson Pyper (@HalfCourtHoops) of The Basketball Playbook and discussed the 2015-16 Bucks Offensive Preview he created last week.

Be sure to watch the video above before digging into the podcast, as we discuss much of what Gibson broke down in regards to the Bucks' elbow series and some of their most favorite sets. We also tried to touch on how certain aspects of the Bucks' offense compares to other teams throughout the league, as well as some ways Gibson would try to improve the Bucks' offense this season.
