Bucks vs. Magic: Pregame Quoteboard

On O.J. Mayo playing tonight...

"O.J. will get a couple of minute tonight. After practice he felt better, so we'll give it a shot tonight and see how it goes. Jerryd Bayless will sit tonight. With Bayless out will help us get Juice involved"

On Chris Johnson...

"Chris will continue to build on what he's done for us. In a short time he's done a lot of good things. We're going to need him tonight."

On finishing the homestand and looking ahead...

"We're just going to focus on tonight. We can build on what we did against New Orleans, there were a lot of good things from that game. Looking at our defense, we have to tighten it up. Offensively, we did some good things. Orlando is a team that can put a lot of points on the board. We have to rebound the ball and take care of the ball tonight."

On what he'll ask from the players tonight...

"It's real simple, we want energy and effort. That's what we're built on. We continue to do that since that Golden State game.  With the trade, I think everybody is a little bit more comfortable, and you can see that in the play from the new guys. For the guys that have been here, they are comfortable with the new guys. Now it's just a matter of moving forward and executing down the stretch."

On new players getting acclimated to the team...

"It's a process of understanding, making mistakes, and understanding how to come back from those mistakes. It's going to take a lot of time, and the only way to do that is by going through it. We're a young team, but we are getting better each time we take the floor."

On Khris Middleton...

"I think Khris's success started early, way before the season started. He was one of the few guys here in September. He worked extremely hard during the summer, and you can see ta his hard work has paid off. His communication is something that doesn't show up on a box score. I think when you look at him growing as a player, not just his game, but his leadership has taken off and you can see that on the court.

On what it will take to beat the Bucks tonight...

"We have to be solid offensively and not turn the ball over. I give them credit, using their length to their advantage. They are playing well and have a good defensive scheme. We have to be solid offensively by moving the ball and our bodies. If you are stagnant and slow, they will eat you up. We have to be very efficient offensively, and defensively protect the paint and get back. We need to know who those shooters are out there. They are playing very well."
