Brew Hoop Community Draft Board - Pick #1

The 2015 NBA Draft is less than a month away, and while the Milwaukee Bucks aren't in the driver's seat this year like they were when they owned the #2 overall selection a year ago, the excitement is always high around draft time.

The Bucks enter this year's draft in a very different situation than coming off their franchise-worst 2013-2014 season. A surprising playoff run and a roster that finally features a handful of players who could truly be considered "core" pieces, Milwaukee can approach this draft in a variety of ways. Last year was all about grabbing the most talented, high-potential player available. This year, there is a choice to make. Sitting right in the middle of the draft order, what sort of approach should the team take? Should they look to add a complementary player, somebody who can augment the current roster and contribute to continued improvement in the immediate future? Or do that continue a longer-term approach and go for another upside pick?

Now's your chance to lend your opinion to this critical discussion, because it's time to put together the Brew Hoop Community Draft Board!

If you need a reminder of what we're going for, here's our final board from the 2014 NBA Draft. We'll go all the way to pick #17 this year. A few more notes to get out of the way first:

  • Remember that this is a vote on who you want to pick at each spot, not who you think will get picked. Big Board, not Mock Draft.
  • I'll be adding players to each poll according to DraftExpress' Top-100 Prospect List.
  • If your choice at any particular spot isn't listed, vote for "Other" and leave your pick in the comments.

Let's get this started!
