Bucks workout wing options, announce Summer League Schedule

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Tuesday's draft workout at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin Training Center featured easily the most talented group yet, and it also highlighted that the Bucks will have several possible options when they're up at pick #17 on draft night.

"We feel like we're going to get a player. We're going to have some choices," Bucks Director of Scouting Billy McKinney said. "Every year in the draft we talk about this as a staff in our meetings, every year one or two players  will go higher in the draft that will push somebody down. If that doesn't happen this year, we're comfortable with the players that are going to be there."

So, who might be available in that range?

Three projected first-round picks were on hand today, Georgia State's R.J. Hunter, Virginia's Justin Anderson, and Arizona's Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. Hunter and Anderson are noted as shooters, while RHJ is more of the defense/athleticism type, and all three offer at least some of the versatility coveted by a team like the Bucks.

For specific scouting reports on each guy, here are Hunter, Anderson, and Hollis-Jefferson's draft profiles, courtesy of DraftExpress. Milwaukee is tentatively scheduled to have workouts Wednesday, Thursday, and Monday before the draft on Thursday. Word is that Arkansas' Bobby Portis and Louisville's Montrezl Harrell will be a participating on one of those days, so be on the lookout for some more #CONTENT on those guys. Notre Dame point guard Jerian Grant is also expected on Wednesday. For what it's worth, the latest mock draft from DraftExpress' Jonathan Givony projects Portis to land in Milwaukee.

The Bucks also announced their Summer League schedule on Tuesday, which will consist of at least five games -- three scheduled initially and at least two tournament-style games thereafter. Each team will play three games apiece to determine seeding in the tournament. From there it's your normal, bracket-style tournament, though each team is guaranteed two games in said tournament. Here is the Bucks' schedule, all times CST.

Friday, July 10th: New Orleans Pelicans (5 p.m.)

Sunday, July 12th: San Antonio Spurs (5:30 p.m.)

Monday, July 13th: Cleveland Cavaliers (3 p.m.)

Though the Bucks won't release their roster until after the draft, we can assume that Damien Inglis, one or both of this year's draft picks, Jorge Gutierrez, and Johnny O'Bryant. Jabari Parker and Giannis Antetokounmpo will be traveling out to Vegas, but figure not to play (at least in Giannis's case, Jabari definitely won't). Tyler Ennis was set to play with the team, but shoulder surgery changed those plans.

Summer League will span from July 10th-20th, and we'll have at least two of our brave men out there. The things we do for this site...
